Group Therapy Social Club Rules, Policies & Charter

Charter Amendments

  1. This Charter governs the rights and responsibilities of all Members of Group Therapy Social Club private membership club (“Club”) located within LMHH.
  2. Amendments to this Charter may occur periodically, determined by Club Management, and communicated to Members through postings on the Club’s Website at GroupTherapy.events. Club Management has sole authority to interpret this Charter.

Club Policies

  1. Purpose of the Club
    • Group Therapy Social Club is aiming to create a dynamic community where members can forge new friendships and explore shared interests.
    • Primary concern is the well-being of Members and their enjoyment of the Club.
  2. Consent to Use Likeness
    • Club may capture events photographically; Members can request anonymity.
    • Club has the right to use images/videos for membership programming, promotions, public relations, and commercial/business purposes.
  3. Membership Admission
    • Prospective Members must apply and undergo review by the Membership Committee appointed by Club Management.
    • No discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, ancestry, national origin, age, disability, medical condition, sexual orientation, gender identity, or marital status.
    • Membership application, interview notes, and Committee proceedings are confidential.
  4. News Media and Social Media
    • Strict no-press policy for Members.
    • Members accountable for not disclosing or identifying other Members or guests to any media or social media platforms.
  5. Founding Members
    • Lifetime membership for select initial Members (Founding Members).
    • Benefits include nominating prospective Resident(s) as future Members, subject to approval by Membership Committee and Club Management.
  6. Members
    • Annual fees established by Club Management, subject to change.
    • Can nominate prospective Resident(s) as future Members, subject to approval by Membership Committee and Club Management.
    • Only open to residents of LMHH.
  7. Membership Duration
    • Memberships are non-transferrable.
    • Renewed annually at Club Management’s discretion.
    • Refundable pro rata portion of annual fees (excluding Initiation Fee) for a deceased Member.
    • Termination possible for various reasons, with no refund of fees or Initiation Fee.
  8. Guest Adherence to Policy
    • Members responsible for guests’ awareness of Club Policy and other rules.
  9. Anti-Harassment Policy
    • Zero tolerance for sexual harassment or unwanted advances.
    • Members urged to report such matters to Club Management.
  10. Non-Solicitation
    • No solicitation of Members for business, fundraising, joining other organizations, or promoting religious/political causes.
    • Distribution of unsolicited marketing materials or notices/advertisements requires pre-approval.
  11. Non-Smoking Premises
    • Smoking not permitted during Club events.
  12. Alcohol Policy
    • Moderate alcohol consumption expected; disruptive behavior not tolerated.
    • Right to refuse alcohol service to intoxicated Members or guests.

By acknowledging this Charter, Members agree to adhere to its provisions, promoting a positive and safe experience for all. Violations may result in sanctions, including access termination. Club Management has final authority in interpreting and enforcing this Charter.
